Welcome to the Bishop Kucera Fourth Degree Assembly #595 of the Knights of Columbus in Lincoln, NE.
*****
The Fourth Degree, also known as the "Patriotic Degree", was established on February 22, 1900, on the principle of patriotism.
The Fourth Degree focuses the majority of their activities on the principle of love for and devotion to one's country.
This ritual adds patriotism to the three original principles of the Order: charity, unity and fraternity.
This is the highest ranking within our Order and our Sir Knights are the visible part of the Order.
In the public's view, when they see us in parades, they see "The Knights of Columbus".
When we attend wakes and funerals of our deceased brothers, they see "The Knights of Columbus".
In many parishes in which we serve, they see
"The Knights of Columbus".
