K. C. State Head Praises Building
Planned in Omaha

Francis P. Matthews, state head of the Knights of Columbus, Tuesday night told that the Catholic Daughters of America that the Catholic Community Center building, which the Knights of Columbus are planning to build at Twentieth and Dodge Streets, will be the strongest civic force which the Catholic church will have in Omaha.
"Catholics in this city will fail in one of their highest duties to their children and to the community." he said, "if this building is not erected."
Several members of the organization volunteered to help the members raise $150,000 toward the present fund of $340,000.
