New K. of C. Head
J. Ralph Dunn, 5612 Leavenworth Street, was elected grand knight of Omaha Council, 652, Knights of Columbus, at a meeting in the club quarters at 2027 Dodge Street Tuesday night.
It was the last meeting of the council in the old location, which is now being operated as a hotel by other owners following a settlement of mortgage difficulties.
The council following the election of offices, decided to act at once to establish club quarters at a new permanent location, yet to be chosen.
Other officers elected are James F. Fitzgerald, deputy grand knight; Gerald Schaarf, chancellor; George Peters, recording secretary; Edward F. Smith, treasurer; Ralph Bremers, advocate; Lawrence Abst, warden; Floyd Stryker, trustee for a three year term; Lawrence Jewel, inside guard; and John Bockman, outside guard.
