Emilio B. Moure
Supreme Treasurer
of the Knights of Columbus
As Supreme Treasurer, Knights of Columbus, Emilio B. Moure is responsible for the financial affairs of the Order. He was elected to the position on October 9, 2009.
Mr. Moure was born in Havana, Cuba, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 11. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Long Beach and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Executive Management from the University of La Verne. He went on to a long and successful 23-year career with the Emerson Electric Company, holding senior management positions in accounting, marketing, operations, and general management in domestic and international locations.
Mr. Moure joined the Knights of Columbus in January, 1985, and is a member of James Cardinal McIntyre Council 6332 and of the Santiago de Compostela Assembly in California. Mr. Moure served in all elected offices of the California jurisdiction, and served as State Deputy in 2006-2007, earning membership in the Circle of Honor.
While serving as State Deputy of California, Emilio was elected to the Knights of Columbus Board of Directors in August, 2006. In April 2007, he joined the Knights of Columbus headquarters staff as Executive Vice President of Business Process Management.
In 2008, Emilio was elected to the KWTV Board of Directors in Mexico City, where he has been active in developing a positive television alternative for the Mexican market. In 2009, he was elected to the National Fraternal Congress of America (NFCA) Board of Directors.
Emilio has been married to Rebeca Moure for 31 years. They have two sons and one granddaughter.
